Aims
Besides imparting additional courses in general knowledge this course also entails basic preparation for a career in administration.

Aims

Internship
This takes place one day a week during the course of a year in the administration of a firm or local authority and is supervised by the college. The remaining four days a week are spent at college.

Possibility to continue education by entering the more advanced courses given in the Höhere Handelschule Or the courses given leading to the higher qualification of Abitur (equivalent of “A” levels) Apprenticeship in lower levels of administration Apprenticeship in commerce or industry

This course entails a much more detailed preparation for a career in administration and successful completion allows the chance to attend higher educational establishments.
Courses are geared towards this aim and include the following subjects
With two foreign languages
Business management IT Mathematics Economics English French or Spanish (from scratch) German and communication skills, Religion or ethics Sport Politics
With one foreign language
Business management IT and office management Mathematics Economics English German and communication skills, Religion or ethics Sport Politics Physics (in the first year)

Aims
This course entails a far more detailed preparation for a career in administration and successful completion allows the chance to attend higher educational establishments. It is especially geared to answer the growing need in Europe for personnel with good qualifications in economics and languages.
Courses are geared towards this aim and include intensive preparation for the Chamber of Commerce exam for foreign language correspondents, thus giving students the chance to obtain a double qualification, namely from the state and from industry. They run for two years for those with the equivalent of “A” Levels and three years for those without this qualification.

Courses are also carried out in modern rooms and language laboratories fully equipped with computers and Internet.
Internship
Two four-week periods supervised by the college and/or partner colleges are spent at home or abroad.

Possibility to continue in an establishment of higher.education Possibility to find employment in the higher echelons of commerce, industry, the German Foreign Office or civil service or European Institutions, the tourism branch or international concerns without the need of a further apprenticeship

Information about the commercial high school course with commercial studies (Wirtschaftsgymnasium)
Aims
This course entails a far more detailed preparation for a career in administration and successful completion allows the chance to attend higher educational establishments. It is especially geared to answer the growing need in Europe for personnel with good qualifications in economics and languages.
Courses are geared towards this aim and students can also sit the Chamber of Commerce exam for foreign language correspondents, thus giving students the chance to obtain a double qualification, namely from the state and from industry. They courses run for three years for the equivalent of the “A” Level and three years and three months for those wishing to have an additional training qualification (see internship).

Courses are also carried out in modern rooms and language laboratories fully equipped with computers and Internet.
Internship
One four-week period supervised by the college at the end of the second year of studies and if the training qualification is required a further twelve week period after completion of the course.

Students work on a complicated project of their own choice which is then documented and presented.
Organisation
Courses take place three days a week for 7 semesters.
Monday 6.00 pm – 9.15 pm Wednesday 6.00 pm – 9.15 pm Saturday 7.45 am – 12.00 pm
Further educational or career possibilities
As a graduate in business administration, completion of this course enables a student the possibility of continuing studies at an establishment of higher education. Possibility to find employment in the higher echelons of commerce, industry, and the German civil service.
